Verbal? Written? Peer? Teacher? What form of feedback is the most influential and supportive to allow students to progress towards their goals? Students need timely, specific, and intentional feedback, but first... a relationship formed in trust must be established. Students must also acknowledge writing is a PROCESS; meaning their work will go through stages to allow for growth. My research is applicable to all educators interested in deepening their perspective on quality feedback, because we are giving feedback all. the. time. But time is something we all struggle with not having enough of. So, the question remains: What are some ways I can provide quality feedback in a timely manner, across a variety of learning models: In-person, Hybrid, and Distance? My goal for our dialogue is for the sharing of insights and ideas on how we can all support our students' journey of learning through the feedback we support them with. Please join in this discussion!
