Are your students struggling to engage and participate in your lesson? Are your students quiet and in a daze, and stressed? Are you seeing black screens and no faces and smiles?I would answer this question with a big YES! Ever since COVID hit, this has become even more of a struggle! In my research I focused on how mindfulness activities have increased my student engagement in the classroom. My goal was to implement activities and techniques to make students feel more comfortable in the classroom and ultimately engage more with their peers and with the lesson as a whole. If you are looking for ways to use mindfulness activities in your classroom as a way to engage students, this is a discussion that you don’t want to miss!
