How much time do you put into emailing and creating newsletters to get little to no responses from families? If you are interested in finding other ways to communicate with your students' families, this session is for you! I began my research eager to find a way to increase two way communication and parent involvement in my elementary classroom. My main concepts were communication and relationships and I focused on sending weekly text messages to the families of my third graders. My hope is that you are able to walk away with new tools to strengthen the bond between home and school.
