"I'm bored." We have all heard it before from our students. How many times have we heard this or seen it in our students while teaching what we believed to be an engaging activity or lesson? I am excited to share the results of my research because I have been in this situation before. My concept focuses on students constructing their own understanding of knowledge being taught by the teacher, and then exploring their understanding with their peers. I implemented this through the form of Social Constructivism and I was amazed at what I saw, and what I learned from my students. If you are looking to engage in deep discussions that can bring out new ideas questions or approaches to student engagement and constructivism, then this session is for you!
