What is Conscious Discipline? How does incorporating the Conscious Discipline program impact students pre-K to Fifth Grade? If you are interested in learning and hearing about the program and its impact on student’s social and emotional skills and learning, this session is for you! I started researching this program when my Adventures Plus program introduced it in our district. I was intrigued by hearing of new ways to help students grow their social skills and to learn how to build healthy and positive relationships. I implemented Conscious Discipline in my before and after-school program that has approximately 100 students between pre-K to Fifth Grade. The program has been shown to work with kids as young as infancy and to as old as High School students. Due to Covid-19, my data collection did not go exactly as I planned, but I was able to see huge changes in my site’s program.
