Is your class having a hard time making connections and forming trust with each other? Have you incorporated Morning Meetings in your classroom? I am excited about my research because my students have learned to be engaged with each other and have formed stronger connections through being involved in the four components of Morning Meeting. They are learning something new about their classmates and forming stronger relationships. I believe my research is relevant to younger grades k-2 but can be easily adaptable to all levels. My main concept is relationships. I will share my findings of building strong relationships through my concepts of community, communication, and engagement and how they connect to the four components of Morning Meeting. My hope is that you will walk away with some new ideas to add to your own Morning Meeting to help form stronger relationships with your students.
