When you think about Physical Education at your school do you see why it is a required class or does it fit the stereotype of being a “roll out the dodgeballs” course? In my research I am working towards shifting my school's PE program from a participation based letter grades into a class where students need to earn their grade through assessments and understandings of standards/concepts. In my seminar you will see how I am working towards making my physical education classes hold more validity.
